הוספת תג | סיכום: | Digital media is the new era of modern journalism, with digital natives and also traditional media that have migrated to the web and the different social networks that exist today, adapting to new technological tools. Digital journalism helps the information reach the audience instantly, implying that it has the power to move the masses and make each news a relevant and viral topic, and influence the life of the public, and the protagonists who are being informed. This research aims to analyze the social contribution and journalistic quality of Ecuadorian sports digital media, when reporting and coverage to the different sports disciplines and competitions in which people with disabilities participate. In this way, determine the level of influence and power that digital media have to generate general interest in society about adapted sports, and also, how the level of coverage that is given, contributes or harms the career of athletes. Taking as reference the journalistic coverage in the Paralympic competitions of the last years in which Ecuador has been part. However, to determine the results of the objectives of this project, interviews with members of the different media investigated in this work and also a focus group with Paralympic athletes were used. |
