Summary:With the promulgation of the General Organic Code of Processes was born a try to innovate the procedural system, putting as cornerstone within it the principle of procedural celerity. The legal terms were reduced, in order to practice efficiency and effectiveness as principles determined both in the Constitution and in the Organic Code of Judicial Power. Four types of procedures were established: ordinary, summary, monitoring and executive. The first one with two hearings, and the last three with a single hearing in which one the judge must issue its final resolution. The General Organic Code of Processes establishes legal consequences for the absence of both the plaintiff and the plaintiff: for the plaintiff, his absence is sanctioned with the abandonment of the trial, while for the defendant, who loses the opportunity to assert his rights………
