Engadir etiqueta | Summary: | The study addressed the complex reality of the parish of La Concepción, located in the canton of Mira, province of Carchi, focusing on the analysis of citizens' perceptions of the drinking water service. This problem is essential for the quality of life of a population characterized by low income, limited infrastructure, and a marked lack of basic services. A mixed research approach was used, employing techniques such as surveys, observations and interviews. The sample selected was non-probabilistic and convenience sampling was used. The results revealed significant dissatisfaction among the residents of La Concepción in relation to the drinking water service. Irregularity of supply and dependence on external suppliers were identified as the main causes of dissatisfaction. Based on these findings, the study proposed a set of improvement actions for the drinking water service, aimed at the local government. |
