| description | This research project is based on the development and management of an inventory model in order to have a better control over the materials management of the “Omega Dent” Dental Office, since it was identified that they do not have a record of inventories, additionally they do not have an adequate control of their fixed assets, thus allowing the problems of availability of materials. The research results highlighted the relevance of having an adequate record for the management of materials and the importance of implementing an inventory management system that can maintain stock control and minimize shortages, thus helping to ensure the availability of materials. In addition, shortcomings in the treatment of fixed assets were identified, and their proper identification and control were proposed to avoid losses. |

In addition, shortcomings in the treatment of fixed assets were identified, and their proper identification and control were proposed to avoid losses.El presente proyecto de investigación se basa en el desarrollo y gestión de un modelo de inventario con la finalidad de tener un manejo mejor control sobre los materiales del Consultorio Odontológico “Omega Dent”, ya que, se identificó que no cuentan con un registro de los inventarios, adicionalmente no cuenta con un control adecuado de sus activos fijos, permitiendo así los problemas de disponibilidad de materiales. En los resultados de investigación se destacó la relevancia de disponer un registro adecuado para el manejo de los materiales y la importancia de aplicar un sistema de gestión de inventario que pueda mantener un control de stock y minimizar las faltas ayudando a asegurar la disponibilidad de los materiales.
