| Sumari: | The analysis of citizen perception of the services of the medical dispensaries of the Diocese of San Jacinto in the city of Durán reveals important findings and areas for improvement that could benefit the community. The research used a mixed-approach and descriptive methodology, combining both surveys and interviews. A survey was applied to a probabilistic sample of 384 citizens of Durán, selected through simple random sampling, including only those who received at least one medical attention in the dispensaries of the Diocese of San Jacinto. The main results indicated that 78% of respondents consider the treatment of medical staff to be friendly and professional, 65% positively value the infrastructure and cleanliness of the dispensaries, but 45% think that waiting times are excessive and 38% point out the lack of certain essential medications as a deficiency. The interviews delved deeper into these perceptions, revealing that most users feel that care is humane and close, although they underline the need to improve the availability of resources and reduce waiting times. Based on these results, concrete actions were proposed to improve citizen perception, including optimizing appointment management, ongoing staff training, and strengthening the supply of medicines. This study not only provides a clear view of the current perception of the health services offered, but also suggests effective strategies for their continuous improvement. |
