| Тойм: | Workplace harassment within Ecuadorian organizations has become a silent reality that has evolved over time, becoming a common practice, which is invisible and imperceptible to the public sphere of society, given that it has become naturalized within the organizational sector, therefore, it constitutes a potential source of violation of human rights. This praxis manifests itself through hostile behaviors that cause illness in collaborators, servants or workers both in the performance of their duties and in the development of their daily lives. Workplace harassment, also known as mobbing, is recognized as a psychosocial risk, since its consequences are highly harmful not only for the victims, but also for the organizations as such, which reflect a significant decrease in the production of their collaborators. For this reason, the main objective of the development of this study is to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of workplace harassment prevention measures applied in the Ecuadorian business sector, identifying strengths and weaknesses to propose strategies to guarantee safe and dignified work environments, through a mixed approach, which integrates qualitative and quantitative elements, given that the qualitative approach allows for a deeper exploration of the experiences and, above all, the perceptions related to the effectiveness of workplace harassment prevention measures in the business environment. |
