| Shrnutí: | The work presented below establishes the objective of analyzing a causal link that allows the inclusion of COVID 19 in the classification of occupational diseases exposed by the Labor Code in article 363, guaranteeing the rights of workers and their families through a proposal of amendment to said legal body. The methodology used was descriptive through a mixed study. In what corresponds to the field study, the application of surveys and interviews to professionals such as lawyers, public sector officials and doctors from the Ministry of Public Health was considered. Among the results obtained, it was shown that the workers, if they have been infected in their workspaces, have had to sacrifice their vacation days to recover from the infection, are exposed to high risks of contagion because they work outside the office, etc. On the other hand, as soon as the interviews showed that the regulatory bodies should be considered for possible labor reforms, it is necessary to manage the biosafety protocols and to have the support of a psychologist to help the workers in the recovery of the injuries. workers. Finally, it is concluded that it is necessary to establish a causal link that allows the achievement of the aforementioned objective. |
