Sumari:The channels are fundamental conduits in hydraulic works, where the roughness is a component inversely proportional to the flow to be satisfied. The work deals with the research "Analysis of an irrigation channel on land vs cement-lined soil"; and the objective is, through the principles of hydraulic optimization and economic aspects to improve the functioning of the channel located in Tarifa belonging to the canton Samborondón, taking into account all the parameters to be treated making a comparative analysis between a floor covering - cement and uncoated (on land).
