Este trabajo se divide en seis capítulos y se destaca la importancia de un sistema de señalización vial adecuado para asegurar una circulación fluida y segura. El estudio está enfocado en la vía Vuelta Larga – Cone, perteneciente al cantón Yaguachi, Ecuador, que enfrenta desafíos de seguridad vial debido al crecimiento poblacional y económico. En particular, la falta de señalética adecuada, como señales desgastadas, vandalizadas o inexistentes, y la inconsistencia en el diseño y la normativa, contribuye a la inseguridad en las vías.
