Propuesta de diseño de un centro de desarrollo cultural aplicando arquitectura contemporánea en el cantón Milagro

The canton of Milagro, with a population of 199,835 inhabitants and a cultural richness in constant evolution, requires infrastructure that fosters community participation and the strengthening of its identity. However, the lack of adequate spaces for artistic, educational, and social development has limited the community's access to diverse cultural activities. This research proposes the design of a Cultural Development Center in Milagro, integrating the principles of contemporary architecture and introspective architecture. The aim is to create a space that not only meets the functional needs of the community but also generates a positive impact on the perception of the urban environment. To achieve this, the use of native and sensory gardens, as well as a public plaza to encourage social interaction, is considered. This project seeks to promote cultural, artistic, and educational development while fostering a sense of belonging and community engagement in Milagro.
