The proposed objective is to analyze the contribution of family education in the cognitive development of children with Mild Intellectual Disability of the basic elementary level. The following were detected: learning deficiencies, parental abandonment, lack of affection, which is shown in their low performance and the constant complaints from teachers about the little or no help from parents in academic reinforcement within the home. The methodology that was applied allowed to obtain direct and adequate information, with a mixed approach supported by a descriptive-explanatory field research, bibliographic and in the theoretical framework with various theoretical references, different instruments were applied such as: surveys and interviews, it was evidenced in legal representatives learning problems within homes, does not reflect help in controlling tasks, in addition, the lack of affectivity towards their children reflected in the inattention, little interest and abandonment of children with mild intellectual disabilities , these factors make family dysfunctionality worse and their performance is low, affecting the teaching-learning process with all this information, a system of workshops was held for legal representatives to provide solutions and support for them to develop skills and thus teach in daily tasks and channel their emotions in their affective part towards their children with mild intellectual disability strengthening cognitive development............ |

El objetivo propuesto es analizar la contribución de la educación familiar en el desarrollo cognitivo de niños con Discapacidad Intelectual Leve del nivel básico elemental. Se detectaron: falencias en el aprendizaje, abandono de los padres, falta de afecto lo que se muestra en su bajo rendimiento y las constantes quejas de las docentes por la poca o nula ayuda de los padres en el refuerzo académico dentro del hogar. La metodología que se aplicó permitió obtener la información directa y adecuada, con un enfoque mixto sustentado con una investigación descriptiva-explicativo de campo, bibliográfica y en el marco teórico con diversos referentes teóricos, se aplicó diferentes instrumentos como: encuestas y entrevistas, se evidenció en los representantes legales problemas en el aprendizaje dentro de los hogares, no refleja ayuda en el control de las tareas, además, la falta de afectividad hacia sus hijos reflejada en la desatención, el poco interés y el abandono de los niños con discapacidad intelectual leve, estos factores hacen que la disfuncionalidad familiar se agrave y que su rendimiento sea bajo afectando el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje con toda esta información se realizó un sistema de talleres dirigidas a los representantes legales para dar solución y apoyo para que desarrollen habilidades y así enseñen en las tareas diarias y canalicen sus emociones en su parte afectiva hacia sus hijos con discapacidad intelectual leve fortaleciendo el desarrollo cognitivo.........Guayaquil: ULVR, 2021.González Orbea, Gardenia Leonor2021-07-12T20:55:24Z2021-07-12T20:55:24Z2021info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis141 p.Posada Salas Rina Evangelina (2021).
