The important factor of the project is the revaluation and appropriation of the traditional construction techniques of the study area. A mixture of contemporary architecture with local materials and ancestral construction techniques is sought, to achieve thermally comfortable areas, with low energy consumption and a low environmental impact both in the construction processes and during the useful life of the construction. The system used includes quincha walls with concrete overlay and an independent structure of bamboo cane. In addition, the proposal contemplates the use of natural factors such as cross ventilation, natural lighting and the treatment of grey water through wetlands. The shape and layout of the design are derived from the program of needs and everything mentioned above. |
