Streszczenie:The present investigation will make it possible to approach the problem up close, which shows its importance by knowing what are the possible causes, consequences of existing family dysfunction in the care of children with sensory disabilities; Knowing different realities, that is, it will be possible to contribute to the search for a joint solution both to the family system and to the care of children with sensory disabilities. The family is highlighted as the core part of the research problem, taking it to the school environment. The objective Characterize the family functionality to favor the attention of children with auditory sensory disabilities of the Huertos de los Olivos Foundation in the Guayaquil canton. The study was based on the humanist paradigm. The methodology used was mixed with a descriptive scope and cross-sectional design. A sample of 10 children with auditory sensory impairment was selected for the study. The results showed that children with sensory impairment come from dysfunctional families with inadequate care according to their needs. Conclusion: it can be concluded that psycho-emotional, family, communicational and educational factors have been determinant in the development of personal and psychosocial skills of children with auditory sensory disabilities.
