Summary:The research project is based on the problems that exist in the educational inclusion of migrant children who are refugees, where inclusive school practices are not always carried out properly. Therefore, the objective of the work was to analyze the incidence of school practices on the educational inclusion of school-age migrants in the shelter located in the Urbanor cooperative in the city of Guayaquil. The methodology used was a mixed approach, with a descriptive scope. Techniques such as observation of the activity and interviews of shelter guides and children, interviews accompanying mothers and surveys of educational staff of the shelter were used. The results show that there are effects on the indicators related to inclusive school practice and the educational inclusion of migrant children of school age in this shelter. Among the most affected indicators are: in the variable inclusive school practices, resources for the care of migrant children and the management of volunteers with them; and in the variable Educational inclusion, the integration of children in the new context and accessibility to education as refugees. According to these results, actions are recommended to improve inclusive school practices and the educational inclusion of migrant children in this shelter.
