Estudio técnico al congestionamiento vehicular implementando paso peatonal en la Avenida 25 de junio, frente al Paseo Shopping

This study addresses the vehicular congestion on 25 de Junio Avenue in front of Paseo Shopping in Machala, by introducing a pedestrian bridge. Initially, a comprehensive analysis of the vehicular flow in the study area is conducted through vehicle counts to understand the magnitude of the problem and its main causes. Subsequently, detailed calculations and a preliminary design of the pedestrian bridge are carried out, considering structural and accessibility factors. The structural plan of the bridge is accurately developed, incorporating design elements that ensure the safety and functionality of the pedestrian passage, as well as aesthetic integration with the surrounding urban environment. This study not only aims to improve urban mobility in the area but also to promote a comprehensive approach to urban planning that prioritizes road safety, accessibility, and community participation. It is expected that the results obtained will contribute to the development of urban infrastructure policies and projects that enhance the quality of life for the residents and users of the city of Machala.
