Fundado en Guayaquil en el año 1972 y trasladado a Posorja en 1984 a causa de daños estructurales debido al fenómeno de niño, actualmente el establecimiento enfrenta problemas de saturación en las aulas y falta de adecuación a las necesidades pedagógicas modernas.
