| Summary: | This research project was developed with the objective of analyzing the effects of the implementation of the main reforms in labor policy; such as: The crime of not affiliation to the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute, established in 2014; the elimination of the individual fixed-term contract, which established the imposition of the indefinite contract, implemented in 2015; youth recruitment and the reduction of working hours in 2016; all of them on employment, considering the importance of these reforms as a basis for generation of employment in the country and consequently that society can achieve a decent life; but it is also considered the importance of establishing that the implementation of labor policies on employment also depend on the economic situation of the country in the given period; that is why, through the statistical method of Pearson's correlation coefficient, evaluates the relationship of economic variables such as Gross Domestic Product, Basic Salary, Trade Balance, Oil Income and Inflation, with respect to the Ecuadorian employment. Among the main results obtained, it is evident that these active labor policies caused various results in employment, emphasizing that due to the presence of disincentives and rigidities in the policies, the underemployment was imposing in this period…………. |
