El cantón Milagro se caracteriza principalmente por la producción de frutas tropicales, siendo esta la actividad principal del mismo; sin embargo este sector no ha sido impulsado para que la materia prima sea transformada y convertida en un producto con un valor agregado. Se busca establecer una empresa que pueda comercializar el producto dentro del cantón Milagro, pudiendo expandirse a los cantones cercanos; para esto se ha desarrollado una investigación de mercado que ha permitido identificar los factores que intervienen de manera positiva o negativa en el contexto en el que la empresa se desenvolverá.
