| Achoimre: | Worldwide, there has been an emergency situation caused by the severe acute respiratory syn-drome coronavirus virus, also known as the COVID-19 pandemic, which puts human health at mortal risk, whose main protection has been the confinement in housing, followed by social distancing. From this situation, changes originate and needs arise that were not previously important, where their occupants have detected lacks of characteristics or functional elements that they require for their daily activities. In this regard, there are studies that aim to improve these conditions, so the general purpose that is exposed in the article is: to identify the post-COVID-19 architectural trend factors, which can be applied to housing in Ecuador, which follows the line Research topic on post-COVID-19 architectural trends. Thus, the research is based on the interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach and documentary-type meth-odology, state of the art. The sample covers positions for the future after the pandemic, where the results coincide in conditioning or incorporating, greater ventilation and lighting, green areas, orchards, telework and / or multipurpose spaces with excellent connectivity, and refor-mulation of the toilets, which influences in merging alternative energy and technology. Con-cluding that the usefulness of this research is reflected in future interventions of remodeling, improvement and new projects, where Ecuadorian architects can meet the requirements de-manded by the user and thus capture their ideas by relating the trend factors shown in this study. |
