Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | This pre-feasibility study evaluates the implementation of a drinking water treatment system in the parish of Campozano, Paján, Manabí, using a mixed research approach. Quantitative analyses of the water were performed, evaluating parameters such as pH, turbidity, hardness, and the presence of contaminants and bacteria. The results indicate that the water quality is mostly acceptable for human consumption, although a high hardness of 359 mg/l was identified, which could affect the facilities and the health of residents in the long term. In addition, surveys were carried out among the inhabitants of the Cuatro Cruces commune to collect their perceptions of water quality and their needs.
