| Resumo: | Adoption is regulated in Ecuadorian legislation, through the Childhood and Adolescence Code, where it establishes the sine qua non requirements, and the corresponding phases for its strict compliance. It is public knowledge that the adoption processes in Ecuador are delaying, within the administrative phase or the judicial phase, there are processes that take years and in the same sense, take months to finalize an adoption, this also depends on the condition of each boy, girl or adolescent, since adoption seeks family reintegration. Within the adoption process, the phases must be met: administrative and judicial where the applicants, that is, the future adopters named as long as they successfully complete the corresponding phases. In the administrative phase, the essential requirements to be suitable candidates for an adoption will be presented, such as the state of physical health, economic capacity, age, state of residence where the child will have his residence, etc.; and the judicial phase is the one where the judge will establish the declaration of adoptability so that the child or adolescent can be adopted, through studies referring to their entire independent process….... |
