الملخص:The present investigation refers to the seismic rehabilitation of a building by lining internally reinforced masonry walls. In our country, current regulations apply to new structures and not to existing structures that need to be repaired. In this sense, the minimum requirements for its analysis and design can be presented, thus proposing this technique for the lining of internally reinforced masonry walls. Ecuador is located in an area of high seismic intensity because it is within the Pacific Ring of Fire and due to the subduction of the Nazca plate below the South American plate, Ecuador-Guayaquil has suffered severe structural damage in the last 20 years.......
