| Zusammenfassung: | The general objective of this research was to determine the influence of the use of technological tools in the teaching and learning of the English language in high school students with mild intellectual disabilities in the "Durán" Fiscal Educational Unit. These students present cognitive deficits and difficulties in the area of auditory discrimination and oral expression of the language of learning English as a second language. The methodological design was developed from a mixed approach (qualiquantitative).
