Beskrivelse
Summary:Mortars have been used from ancient construction to the present day; however, the way they are used and manufactured has been reconstructed over time. The research identified the problem of incorrect use and proportioning of volcanic sand, polypropylene fibers and vermiculite to achieve a desirable end product, as these processes are not as well known and properly detailed to achieve materials of the correct composition; if these materials are used ineffectively they can lead to deterioration and cracking of walls over time. The objective of this study was to provide a solution in the form of admixtures to improve mortars; these materials make concrete stronger, prevent concrete segregation and delamination, improve durability and minimize concrete cracking. Several formulations and tests were carried out to determine the dosage results and the results showed that the feasibility of their use was positive.........
