La investigación se justificó mediante el potencial comercial del cantón mencionado, contando con uno de los atractivos turísticos más importantes en toda la provincia del Guayas. Sin embargo, los emprendedores no han logrado aprovechar este potencial, pero muestran interés en recibir asesoría comercial y tributaria, la misma que favorezca a sus ventas mientras cumplen con las leyes del país referente al registro de sus operaciones.
