The project addresses the growing demand for student housing, as many students from other provinces struggle to find adequate and affordable accommodations in the city. The architectural proposal prioritizes functionality, sustainability, and community by integrating a modular contruction system that optimizes space utilization and enhances residents’ quality of life. Key considerations include accessibility, the use of low-emissivity glass for natural lighting, the incorporation of green areas, and security measures to foster an environment conducive tu study and social interaction. The methodology involved urban context analysis, student surveys, and a review of national and international architectural references. The results highlight the importance of providing a residential space that balances comfort, energy efficiency, and inclusive dosing. The implementation of this proposal is expected to improve the urban environment and student living conditions in Guayaquil. |
