This work highlights how the lack of adequate regulation negatively affects road safety and infringes on pedestrians' rights, emphasizing the legal gaps in Ecuador's regulatory framework. The primary objective of the research is to assess the deficiencies in the current legal framework, identify factors contributing to traffic accidents, and justify the need for uniform regulations for electric vehicles.
