Summary:The international market expansion, growth is an alternative when it has competitive advantages, compared to a global competition. Espacato stones have peculiar physical characteristics, durability and luster that make it attractive against the local stone; what the parameters of competition, price and quality of process, as an attribute to conquer and participate in the Colombian market sustainably adds. The research was put into effect in the city of Buenaventura located in the department of Valle del Cauca (Colombia) during the months of March to June 2014, in which market conditions were analyzed and contacted with potential customers who were interested in the variety and quality of the product. The results of the investigation issued a distinguishable aspect of Ecuador's rustic stone against Colombia, since this latter is spongy, which affects the quality; this market requires a minimum production of 400 mt2 requested, amount and can be exported by the company Ecuamarmol satisfied with the current installed capacity. The proposal aims to achieve insertion into the Colombian market at an affordable price, quality and under orders, what is required of a logistics efficiently export to access international markets, so that allows to the company make better use of existing facilities, minimizing unit costs and improve their economic and financial situation. It is also very convenient for the country, at the macro level, because it is good for improving the trade balance and reduces negative effects on the economy….
