סיכום:At a global level, various environmental organizations are dedicated to mitigating the negative effects of pollution stemming from materials such as plastics, rubber, paper, glass, among others. In this context, scientists are conducting research to develop new products from these pollutants. Currently, sustainable architecture and interior design are being promoted, where professionals incorporate coatings made from recycled materials into their projects. The present research focuses on the “Development of a prototype wall cladding stone using recycled PET plastic, rubber and paper”. The main objective is to design a wall cladding prototype using these recycled materials. The methodology adopted employs a quantitative approach, through surveys conducted with forty interior design professionals. Subsequently, experimentation is carried out in the laboratory to develop the stone prototype using the aforementioned recycled materials, subjecting them to physical, chemical and mechanical tests, this allows for the creation of wall cladding with properties similar to traditional materials.
