| description | Big Data is a technological tool that has been discussed in papers and articles in recent years. However, this thematic is unknown for many people and companies and the difference with conventional data. This conventional data features massive quantity of volume and structure, they are physically stored in the companies and are valued as important actives. This data has been processed during decades and nowadays they represent the highest portion of data available in the world. Usually, this data is used to follow up and present relevant company data but in comparison to Big Data systems, it offers less analytics and exploitable information. In this analysis we are going to show the easiness of accessing legal information, not only by searching personal identification numbers, names and last names, or company fiscal numbers, but by using a wider range of searchable options from the general to the particular, i.e., by legal substance as labor, criminal, civil, commercial and families, and limiting the search by using key words and importance parametric levels. In conclusion, the application of Big Data, opens up a new way of doing Law where information optimization criteria is applied, allowing process agility, benefiting Justice administration and other related institutions or end consumers such as citizens or private and public companies. |

Este conglomerado, de gran volumen y estructuración, se encuentra almacenado y constituye la base de datos que representa a los activos de las compañías. Los datos convencionales se han estado procesando por décadas y hoy en día constituyen el mayor volumen de datos del mundo. Estos referentes se utilizan para realizar seguimiento o presentar estados dentro de una compañía, pero a pesar de esto, ofrecen una menor información que Big Data. Este trabajo busca demostrar lo fácil que sería el acceso a la información legal, si en lugar de llenar parámetros personalísimos como nombres, apellidos y números de cédula, RUC o pasaporte, se coloquen en su defecto parámetros de búsqueda que entreguen la información que partan de una búsqueda más generalizada hasta lo más personalizado posible, podríamos buscar por la materia (laboral, penal, civil, mercantil, familia, etc.), e ir delimitando la búsqueda mediante el uso de palabras claves, teniendo por ejemplo niveles de importancia.
