Este trabajo deja al descubierto los tipos de violencia a la que se enfrentan los periodistas, como amenazas, agresiones verbales y físicas. Y expone las falencias de un sistema al que además de faltarle presupuesto se le imponen débiles y poco garantistas instrumentos legales para velar por la vida y seguridad de los periodistas.
