| Summary: | Teachers and parents play an important role in a child's cognitive development. However, on repeated occasions it is evident the little importance that the representatives have towards the performance of their children, which is why the present study aims to determine the perceptions that initial 2 teachers have regarding the importance of parental support in children's cognitive development. The topic is supported by supports: theoretical, conceptual and legal that allow for a broad vision of the problem being studied. Regarding the methodology, it was developed using a mixed approach through which it had a quantitative mediation design and a qualitative interpretation. The sample corresponds to: 4 teachers, 6 parents and 6 children. From those who obtained as a result, that teachers have a positive perspective on the importance of parental support, they know that it is something fundamental and helps to promote student learning, with respect to parents, it is evident that they do not achieve organize their time in order to be present in activities that are important for them to participate in, ignoring that the support they show will be reflected in their children's achievements............. |
