This work deals with the study, from a qualitative approach, on the perception and attitudes of the inhabitants regarding the environmental noise problem in San Miguel de Tucumán. Closed, face-to-face surveys were carried out on site to inhabitants, users and passers-by of the different areas, inquiring about different perceptual and experiential aspects of the different urban axes. From the data obtained, the importance attributed to noise, the level of awareness of the phenomenon, its causes and various effects were determined. |

Cuando esos sonidos producen molestias en el usuario o afecciones en su salud, es lo que se conoce como ruido o contaminación acústica. El paisaje sonoro permite evaluar ese contexto, empleándolo como herramienta de conservación, valoración y concienciación del ambiente, para alcanzar la calidad del hábitat. El presente trabajo aborda el estudio, desde un enfoque cualitativo, sobre la percepción y actitudes de los habitantes frente a la problemática del ruido ambiental en San Miguel de Tucumán (Argentina). Se realizaron encuestas cerradas, presenciales, en el sitio a habitantes, usuarios y transeúntes de las distintas zonas, indagando diversos aspectos perceptuales y vivenciales de los distintos ejes urbanos.
