Es sin duda un problema de salud pública el tema de las drogas en muchos países latinoamericanos, en este sentido, en el Ecuador cada año se ha registrado un incremento alarmante en el consumo de sustancias psicotrópicas y/o estupefacientes en la población juvenil.
