Por un lado, había informativos divulgados por periodistas titulados con los conocimientos y la experiencia para transmitir noticias, por otro lado, los pseudo periodistas que carecían de estos conocimientos. Esto se ve plasmado entre las publicaciones de los periodistas del medio digital de Instagram, Última Hora Ecuador, y las publicaciones de Facebook y X de los pseudos periodistas, quienes son considerados comunicadores informales, debido a que, son creadores de material falso.
