Přidat tag | Shrnutí: | In Ecuador, poverty is a condition that deteriorates and conditions the quality of life, there are difficulties in meeting their basic needs, such as basic education, access to decent housing, basic services and overcrowding. The objective is to analyze poverty in Ecuador in the period 2016-2020; During this period, relevant indicators for the investigation are examined. The methodology will be descriptive and exploratory, the first, since it describes the facts as they are observed and is also exploratory, because it has not been sufficiently studied and the existing conditions are not yet decisive, with a documentary and bibliographic nature from a mixed approach. In addition to analyzing poverty under Amartya Sen's P index for which variables such as the incidence of poverty, the income gap of the poor and finally the Gini index of the poor are taken. Poverty is related to inequality, which corresponds to an inefficiency in the distribution of income, this in turn determines various variables, such as the generation of employment, which in turn affects the income of the population, basic variables to improve the life condition. It largely corresponds to low economic growth, including economic recession. |
