Summary:The role of the teacher is important from many points of view, as it addresses the strengthening of abilities and skills that individuals need to interact in various contexts. The preparation of the kindergarten teacher, specifically by its nature, must be considered vital for these educational processes, however, this does not usually happen when the teacher faces children with special educational needs. For this reason, the present research aimed to analyze the role of the kindergarten teacher in the teaching-learning process of students with special educational needs in the educational institutions of the Virgen de Fátima Parish, via Durán Tambo, Yaguachi city, Guayas Province. Part of a methodological design with a mixed approach, descriptive scope, not experimental, using the interview, survey and observation sheet as techniques………
