The development of this research work Production management and its impact on productivity and profitability, aims to demonstrate that with the proper management of production in the banana sector, it will have a positive impact on productivity, thereby achieving the increase in boxes produced, income and profitability, in addition to the results of the production management will allow to make corrective or preventive decisions and to establish measurement parameters. The current panorama of the banana sector was analyzed, identifying the production activities, their relevance, their evaluation and their result in productivity, income and profitability, through field research it was possible to show that there are no records of a weekly evaluation of the production management, the rating assigned to the management applied to the production is due to the consideration of the producers and which is made for a possible call for attention to the worker and not as a direct reference in productivity, income and profitability……….
