Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | The current cemetery in the commune of Río Verde has an architectural configuration that rejects the concept of spirituality and divinity; furthermore, it does not have appropriate physical spaces that provide a decent burial for the loved ones of the community, without internal circulation routes making it difficult to walk through the cemetery. The redesign of the General Cemetery is intended on helping to resolve the deficiency of proper infrastructure for burial, similarly, this funerary building will be designed with spaces allowing people to reflect, contemplate and promote spirituality, which reflects life after death, in other words, the afterlife, through Tadao Ando's architectural principles, which references the incorporation of raw materials such as concrete, the prioritization of nature in the design of the building and the rational use of basic geometric figures that provide harmony, serenity and calmness in the place, transforming the negative perception of the cemetery with the help of architecture design. Additionally, the project was not only thought of a renovation of installations to improve the conditions of the cemetery, but also to provide environmental improvements through small interventions of tactical urban planning. |
