Shrnutí: | Abstract Environmental protection is a global concern. At the planet level, efforts are being carried out to promote environmental education and encourage the recovery, reuse and recycling of materials that could become pollutants. At the "Simón Bolívar" Technical School in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, there is an automotive workshop used by students in daily internships in the automotive specialty, which generates waste that is not classified or managed properly, which constitutes a probable environmental pollution. Therefore, this research work aims to design pedagogical strategies for comprehensive waste management in the automotive workshop. This proposal is part of the line of research in Educational Sciences and professional/non-professional training established by the National University of Chimborazo, as it seeks to promote education in learning processes in high school education. The methodology applied was mixed due to It allows us to have a better vision with data collection. In addition, the quantitative approach contributes to the analysis by measuring and quantifying specific variables related to the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the educational community. It is important to mention that within the findings the students demonstrated high knowledge and active attitude in these sustainable practices. It is concluded that the aim is to reduce the generation of waste and manage its proper use. To achieve this, educational strategies are incorporated that promote concern for the environment, care for the environment and the correct use of available educational resources, where the 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle). |
