總結:SARS-COV-2 pneumonia is a pathology that mainly affects the respiratory tract, a new virus discovered at the end of 2019. The pathology and the image's diagnosis is effectively complemented by being useful tomography by obtaining immediate results when taking the exam. The objectives of this research were to analyze the main characteristics of the patterns and sequences in the tomography compared with the PCR test in bibliographic reviews, in patients in an early stage of Pneumonia by SARS-COV2, admitted to the emergency area of Hospital Carlos Andrade Marín of the city of Quito in 2020. Descriptive, not experimental, and cross-sectional methods were applied through the information obtained from medical records. The imaging reports of CT scans were studied in 223 patients diagnosed with COVID-19. The result of the SARS-CoV-2 pneumonia imaging patterns is of great importance, there is a higher frequency of ground glass pattern (80.7%), and CT is a useful tool in patients with moderate or severe symptoms. Radiology is essential because it helps to complement the clinical diagnosis; the Gold Standard is RT-PCR. However, there are false-negative results in bibliographic reviews, and it is even necessary to wait 14 days from the first contact to obtain a reliable result. People with moderate or severe symptoms recommend using tomography to categorize patients according to the CO-RADS classification, which is based on the use of patterns found in the tomography.
