Emocionalidad y asertividad en profesores de la unidad educativa “Juan de Velasco”. Riobamba, 2020

ABSTRACT The present research was carried out to evaluate the levels of emotionality and assertiveness of the "Juan de Velasco" Educational Unit teachers in the city of Riobamba, Chimborazo province. Methodologically, the study is based on the quantitative approach using two psychometric tests: Scale trait of metacognitions on emotional states TMMS-24 and rathus assertiveness test. The processing and analysis of the results were realized through descriptive statistics; the data were joined to the SPSS version 21 program. Regarding the emotionality variable, the results obtained via the TMMS-24 were in the Attention Subscale, 14.03% of men have scores that equate to excessive attention, while 38.59% of women present adequate levels; in the clarity Subscale, 17.54% of men and 40.36% of women have an adequate level; and, in the repair Subscale, 15.79% of men have an excellent level of repair, while 40.35% of women present an adequate level. Concerning the Assertiveness variable, with the rathus test, the following results were obtained: 55 participants (96.49%) presented scores from -15 to 15, placing them in the confrontational assertiveness category, and 2 (3.51%) cases between -16 and -30 were assigned to the category non-assertive, the two cases of insurance (3.51%) correspond to female participants.
