Riassunto:Introduction: Hypothyroidism is the pathology resulting from the deficit of secretion of thyroid hormones more frequent in the females, its frequency according to the world literature is high especially over 60 years of age, on the other hand there are hyperliproteinemias resulting from the elevation of serum cholesterol levels, triglycerides (MOCHAS, 2015). The disorders in lipoprotein metabolism are found in 60% of people with an ischemic heart disease (IC).It is widely demonstrated that the control of cholesterol concentrations with dietary and / or pharmacological measures decreases cardiovascular morbidity and mortality and assumes major impact on cardiovascular prevention. Objectives: To relate the hypothyroidism and development of mixed hyperlipemias in the female sex in fertile age, climacteric and menopause. Material and methods: This study is quantitative, descriptive of cross section. The entire female population with hypothyroidism and mixed hyperlipidemia who attended the external consultation service of the Type A Health Center of the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute of the Baños de Agua Santa city was investigated. Results: The statistical analysis of the investigation determined that the risk factors for hypothyroidism most frequently are the age of 30 and 55 years, mostly in females. Conclusions: There is a relationship between mixed hyperlipidemias in women suffering from hypothyroidism.
