| 總結: | The research work is focused on closed kinetic chain exercises (squats) as a tool to improve the production of strength at the level of the thigh and calf in order to reduce the incidence of knee sprain grade 1 and 2, applied in sedentary patients whose purpose was to demonstrate that the squats serve as muscle strengthening exercise since it can be applied and adapted in the knee sprain Grade 1 and 2. It was taken as a study population, 25 sedentary patients with sprained knee treated at the Galápagos Nº11 BCB Hospital Basic in the period March – August 2017; The sprain is very common in young athletes and also in sedentary people, with the highest incidence in men with 68% and women with 32% between the ages of 15 to 74 years, since sedentary people attend the physiotherapy area and also people who perform sports, this population in which the intervention was carried out. The patient goes to physiotherapy with a referral from a traumatologist, it must be taken into account that all patients undergo an evaluation to implement an appropriate treatment protocol for each one, first evaluating the degree of pain with the EVA scale and initial diagnosis of the ligamentary pathology with which they went to the physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation department. The data was obtained through the application of three research instruments that are: the clinical history, the observation guide and the evolution sheet. |
