Shrnutí:The research entitled "Technique of kaltenborn in adult lumbago, Calpi Health Center 2018". The objective was to determine the effect of the kaltenborn technique on lumbar pain. The approach of the technique is to apply the principles of biomechanics using specific mobilizations, general and soft tissue. The data were obtained from clinical histories, where Eva's test, Schober's test and final evolution cards together with the Oswestry test are included. The methodology applied was based on data collection during the research process, thus facilitating statistical analysis. The study was performed in 20 patients; There is a higher prevalence of low back pain in women with 65% and ages between 30 and 50 years, the duration of treatment was 1 month and 3 weeks, which consisted in soft tissue mobilizations in the first three weeks, in the fourth and fifth week segmental mobilizations and in sixth, seventh week mobilization in flexion and extension together with traction; which produced a decrease in pain that was 8/10 to 0/10. In terms of mobility, there was an increase in flexion that was 14cm to 15cm and in the extension was 8cm to 9cm. Finally, the level of disability according to Oswestry was from intense to minimal, these results were compared with similar investigations reaching the conclusion that the Kaltenborn technique is effective.
