Desarrollo de un sistema señalético para la ruta turística comunitaria de los chaquiñanes en las comunidades de Caliata y Llugshirumi (parroquia Flores).

Graphic design is immersed in all social areas, where the designer plays a main role in solving communication problems, through a visual language, using chromatic, linguistic and iconographic codes. In Ecuador, tourism is a means of economic development, attracting the influrnce of tourists, both domestic and foreign, for this reason the tourist entities, with the aim of providing adequate information and guidance to the tourists, implement signaling systems, capable of making usuable spaces. The signal from the need of guidance of the citizen in a particular environment, creating signals as a means of communication. The research is focused on a field study, which determines the present needs in the environment, in addition for working in a probabilistic sampling of the number of tourists who visit the Riobamba city, allowing us to identify the user profile. Once identified the present need in the case of study and taking into account the user profile, the development of a signal system is proposed, based on Robert Scott´s methodology, through the development of its four causes; first cause, formal, material and technical cause, the result is the manual handbook, in which three stages, design, materials and implementation are presented, fulfilling the signage objective to guide and inform to individuals in a correct manner.
