Итог:This research entitled Mathematical notions through cooperative learning in children of sub-level II, parallel "C" of the Educational Unit "Combatientes de Tapi" in the city of Riobamba, aimed to strengthen mathematical notions through cooperative learning. The methodology used was Bibliographic, since sources related to the research topic were reviewed. For data collection, a survey was prepared and applied. The survey was adapted to the sample population: teachers, assistants, and parents, which allowed determining the level of knowledge about the issue raised. Likewise, an individual interview was set with the selected population. The results were mostly favorable. As a matter of fact, the mathematical notions in Early Childhood Education are fundamental for the intellectual development of children, as they facilitate logical reasoning, criticism, and abstraction. An average of an acceptable level was obtained in the two variables of mathematical notions and cooperative learning in the children throughout the process. Within the knowledge acquired, we can locate motivation, common goals, and teamwork against individualistic and egocentric attitudes. In conclusion, Mathematical notions develop cognitive skills such as memory, compression, and assimilation of information. These notions applied to cooperative learning would improve the traditional teaching system through more dynamic processes where the student can share and discuss their learning through social interaction.
