| סיכום: | The research aims to analyze the multicultural elements inside the Ecuadorian films in the 2019 period to determine the symbols and signs of different cultures in each narrative of the audiovisual productions. It has been considered the exhibition of Ecuadorian cinema and the process of creating stories based on multicultural themes that are characterized by language, traditions, customs, diversity, family, and other cultural characteristics from a communication perspective. In this case, qualitative methodology with an analytical and field approach is used; Content analysis is applied through study matrices and interviews to collect information. It is obtaining results on the development of stories with multiple contents that allow us to identify cultures of our country and the influence of others that are international. Also, multiculturalism is represented not only by common elements but also by forming interrelated scenarios between social representations, art, and expression factors. In summary, it is shown that Ecuadorian films reinforce the notion of a more realistic narrative attached to everyday situations, the lifestyle, and the multiethnic character of the country represented by actors in each character. In addition, the support of public and private organizations is recognized in the construction of audiovisual productions in Ecuador, which allow traditional cinema to be brought to non-commercial narratives, demonstrating that it constitutes an environment for new talents with complete and professional training in the cinematographic field. |
