Περίληψη: | The present study was carried out in the Health Sub-centers of Yaruquìes, Cacha, Guaslán and Calpi to propose palliative nursing care for individual and family that contribute to the process of adaptation of the diabetic patient, from April to June 2017. A descriptive and cross-sectional study, the sample is made up of forty patients diagnosed with diabetes. The observation was used as tool and as instruments the revision of the medical records, the application of the quality of life and satisfaction questionnaire adapted by K. Figueredo and Cols 2008, 2017 and the semi-structured interview conducted by the authors. Data were tabulated, tables were drawn up with their corresponding analysis and discussion. Regarding the affected adaptive modes described by the nursing theorist Callista Roy related to the level of adaptation to the limitations in a scale of little 55.00%; The physiological mode is affected by the high consumption of carbohydrates 55.00% and soft drinks 52.50%, activity and physical exercise 30.00% they never do it, the mode of self-concept show changes in the person with 37 , 50%, with changes of character 45.00% related to moods, the mode of interdependence 30.00% there is not family support that is related to a lack of search for support systems and the therapeutic regimen. The role function mode was not affected. The results determined the need to design the guide called "Adaping to my disease", focused on nutrition, physical activity, emotional and family support, taking into account the level of instruction, simple and understandable language. |
