| Резюме: | Rotator cuff injuries are one of the main causes of shoulder pain and functional limitation. Their origin is mainly related to traumatic and degenerative mechanisms that affect quality of life. After arthroscopic repair, clinical success depends not only on the surgical procedure, but also on appropriate physical therapy to reduce pain, improve shoulder range of motion, neuromuscular control, and restore glen humeral joint function. Objective. The purpose of this study is to highlight physiotherapy intervention in patients with arthroscopic rotator cuff repair through a literature review. This research is bibliographic, documentary, descriptive, and retrospective in nature, collecting, organizing, and analyzing 22 scientific articles with information on physiotherapy intervention and rotator cuff tears selected from databases such as Medline through PubMed, Elsevier, Science Direct, SAGE journals, and PEDro. Methodological quality was assessed using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database PEDro scale, with a score equal to or greater than 6/10. Results. Sixty articles with one or two study variables were collected and filtered according to inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in a final sample of 22 articles. The bibliographic material consulted allowed us to establish that physiotherapy intervention plays a fundamental role in the functional recovery of patients with arthroscopic rotator cuff repair. Adherence to the protocol and individualized follow-up allow for the optimization of clinical results and reduce the risk of joint stiffness. |
